Listen to the bells of St. Botolph's Church, Heene as they were demonstrated at our Open Weekend on 26th November 2016. Apologies that some of the images are 'sideways', but I'm not skilled at editing to right that! Enjoy anyway!!

St. Botolph's has a tower of eight bells and a small - but skilful and enthusiastic! - team of ringers. As well as practice nights, the bells are always rung for half an hour before our Sunday service and sometimes for special occasions.
Practices are held on Wednesday evenings between 7.30 and 9pm, and new recruits (aged 12 plus please) are always very welcome.
If you fancy learning how to ring, then come and meet the team at the Manor Road entrance to the church on a Wednesday night at 7.30pm and find out more.
The Tower Captain is Liz Lane, who can be contacted for further details on 01903 501422 or email [email protected]

Read Jim's article below about becoming a ringer. This has also been printed in the February issue of our parish magazine, The Botolph Bell.
